Real Sociedad star Antoine Griezmann has given hope to Arsenal and Liverpool regarding a summer move, refusing to confirm whether he will stay in la liga next season.

The 23-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from Real Sociedad after an excellent season in la liga, scoring 16 goals and earning a place in the French squad to play at the World Cup.

Recent reports claimed that Liverpool and Arsenal were monitoring his situation while he also was in David Moyes' summer shopping list before being sacked by Manchester United.

Real Sociedad will play its final la liga game this season against Villarreal and questioned whether it could be his last game in Spain, he said: "I don't think about it too much. I will try to win the game, give everything for the team and that's it, nothing else."

"I do not know, but first we have to play against Villarreal, then the World Cup and then we'll see. I hope to have holidays and then we'll see what happens," he was quoted by AS.

Asked if he was ready to make the jump to a big European club, he said: "Better than here (Real Sociedad) I am not going to be anywhere."

"Because Real is a great club and with a great squad. If one day I leave, it will be to move to a big club. But there is still a long time for that."

"That's something that the club and my agent will deal with. I'm here enjoying myself and we'll see what can happen. I'm focused on playing."

Reports in Spain and France claim that Paris Saint Germain have also earmarked him as their main summer target as they strengthen their squad with French players.

"I do not pay much attention. My goal was to enjoy here, lead Real Sociedad to European competitions and be in the World Cup. I don't' pay attention to rumours," he concluded.

Earlier reports in Spain had speculated that his teammate Carlo Vela will join Arsenal this summer, after the Gunners activated a €4m buy-back clause.

"He hasn't told me anything, the truth is that he looks very happy here and he is a very important player for Real."

Griezmann still has two years remaining on his contract with a £25m release clause.
