Overview

The Warriors come into this clash after thrashing the Chris Gayle-led Jamaica Tallawahs by seven wickets in their last game on 7 July. The win meant that Martin Guptill's side moved to the top of the points table with six points from three games.

The only unbeaten side left in the CPL 2016, Guyana's bowlers have been exemplary with everyone contributing at crucial times. Pakistani left-arm pacer Sohail Tanvir leads the wicket-takers' list with eight while spinner Adam Zampa is in the fourth place with six wickets. The unpredictable nature of Veerasammy Permaul has given their attack a different dimension.

Chris Lynn has starred with the bat for Guyana scoring 122 in their three games but what will be of concern is the lack of runs from skipper Guptill who is yet to find form. He has looked quite shaky in all three innings so far.

With no injury concerns at present, the Warriors are expected to go in with the same team that beat Jamaica in their last game.

St Kitts have concerns, having won only one game out of four played so far. Despite the three losses, they find themselves in the third place on the points table, but that is because the rest of the teams are yet to play more than two matches.

Despite having two batsmen in the top five run-getters' list, the St Kitts' outfit have struggled to put up challenging totals on the board. Evin Lewis and Devon Thomas have been the only batters to put up a fight with the rest falling like a pack of cards. A lot more will be expected from Faf du Plessis and co if they are to go further in the competition.
