Celebrations are in order for former boy band member, Hollywood actor, and all-round Mr Nice Guy Justin Timberlake, who marks turns 35 today (31 January 2016). The SexyBack hitmaker has been hot on the music scene since 1995 when teenage girls the world over were first introduced to Nscync and celebrates the milestone having enjoyed tremendous success with all four of his studio albums. In honour of his big day, IBTimes UK recaps some of his best songs to date.

Cry Me A River (2002)

Cry Me a River, who is said to be inspired by Timberlake's very public breakup with fellow singer Britney Spears, is his most iconic song to date. The video, which features a woman that closely resembles Spears, has almost 135 million views of YouTube.

Like I Love You (2002)

After going solo in 2002, Timberlake released his Like I Love You, which was his first single off his debut album, Justified. Produced by the Neptunes (Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams), the track boasts a funk rhythm with live drums and a Spanish guitar. For the video, he sported a burgundy beanie hat and showed off his moves in from of a convenience store.

SexyBack (2006)

In 2006, Timberlake teamed up with Timbaland to bring sexy back, and what a great job he did. The catchy track climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 where it stayed for seven weeks and also earned the star his first UK number one. Not only did the song win Best Dance Recording at the 2007 Grammy Awards, Timberlake also walked home with the People's Choice Award for Favorite R&B song and the Male Artist of the Year at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards.

My Love (2006)

This is one of Timberlake's tracks that didn't need a music video to guarantee it's success. Ten years after its release the love song about a guy trying to convince a girl all she needs is his love, continues to be very popular.

Señorita (2002)

Señorita was co-written by Justin Timberlake, and The Neptunes' Pharrell Williams. Chad Hugo and has often described as a described as a Spanish "number" with a "Latin-flavored" cut beat. His days of dancing like a puppet on a string with a head of curly blonde hair were over and he was instead trying to win the affections of a lovely looking lady.

Suit & Tie (2013)

Suit & Tie was the lead song on Timberlake's comeback album The 20/20 Experience. The track, which featured rapper Jay Z, has sold over three million copies and has 92 million views and counting on YouTube. The success of the 2013 hit was overshadowed earlier in January when Two members of 1970s r'n'b group Sly, Slick and Wicked reportedly filed a lawsuit against Timberlake's record label, Universal Music Group, claiming their vocals were used without their consent.

Mirrors (2013)

Although Suit & Tie received a positive reception from fans, it was his follow-up single, Mirrors, that solidified his status as one of the biggest stars on the planet and left fans begging for more. To support the emotional track, about a strong bond between soulmates, he released a music video which also paid tribute to his grandparents, who were married for 63 years. The song features the lyrics: "It's like you're my mirror, my mirror staring back at me/I couldn't get any bigger, with anyone else beside of me/ And now it's clear as this promise, That we're making two reflections into one."
