Harry Styles has a new best friend. The One Direction singer has formed a really "weird" and "strange" relationship with the drummer of Kings Of Leon, Nathan Followill, according to his brother Caleb.

In an interview with The Sun, the Kings Of Leon frontman said, "Nathan has like a crush on Harry," and shared that the two even have matching tattoos. "Nathan and him, they have matching tattoos, it's really weird, strange relationship," said Caleb.

"I think Nathan is just his number one groupie," the lead singer said of his older brother and Styles' friendship. Nathan also has one of Harry's guitars that Caleb dubbed as "gift of love".

The American rock band was formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2000 and comprises brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared along with their cousin Matthew. The group has seven Grammy nominations and has won three.

With One Direction on indefinite hiatus, Harry Styles has signed a three-record solo contract with Columbia Records. He will also be making his debut in acting and will be seen in the film Dunkirk, which is set for release in 2017.

Another 1D member, Niall Horan released his debut solo titled This Town on 28 September and gave fans an update on their boy band status. The Irish singer told Spyder Harrison on Sirius XM's Hits 1 (via Entertainment Tonight), "For the foreseeable, you know, we're just taking a break and kind of doing our own thing. I definitely won't rule that out because it's the best thing that One Direction has allowed us to do things like this, and I definitely won't rule it out. Our lives wouldn't be the same."
