Showtime's award-winning terrorism drama Homeland Season 4 returns with the first two episodes airing back-to-back at 9 pm ET/PT on Showtime.

The episodes titled "The Drone Queen" and "Trylon and Perisphere" will see CIA agent Carrie Matthison, (Claire Danes) in Kabul, post Nicholas Brody's death.

"The Drone Queen" synopsis reads: "As Kabul station chief, Carrie will make a critical decision. A disgraced former case officer is going to reveal information."

The "Trylon and Perisphere" synopsis reads: "An official inquiry is going to bring Carrie back to the US, where she will struggle with her ambivalence towards motherhood. In the meantime, Quinn is going to spiral out of control; and a disgraced former case officer will reveal disturbing new information."

In the last season, Brody, played by Damian Lewis, was killed in the shocking finale, and Season 4 will start on a clean slate.

Showrunner Alex Gansa told Zap2it that Brody "haunts and will haunt this season", but his name isn't referenced specifically because it's "not a name or anything [Carrie] particularly has to reference directly. It's just a part of who this character is now".
