The drama surrounding Annalise Keating and her five students is just getting started on How To Get Away With Murder season 2. Thanks to a flash-forward scene, now fans know that the lawyer will be shot by someone at Hapstall mansion. Also the new prosecutor on the sibling case, ADA Emily Sinclair (Sarah Burns) is dead. Episode 2 is titled, It's Called The Octopus, where The Fosters star Sherri Saum will make a guest appearance as Annalise's new client.
The official synopsis of the episode reads:
When Annalise takes on a new client, the team must investigate a very high end sex club to get answers. Meanwhile, Annalise is still representing the siblings accused of killing their parents, but the case takes a turn for the worse when a new motive surfaces, and Wes teams up with an unexpected ally, on How to Get Away with Murder.
Episode 2 revealed that other than Wes (Alfred Enoch), Connor (Jack Falahee), Laurel (Karla Souza) and Michaela (Aja Naomi King) were also present at the mansion when Annalise was shot. Infact, Connor was not comfortable about leaving a bloody Annalise behind, but the rest of his entourage forced him to leave the scene of the crime.
Aja Naomi King who plays Michaela hints at Connor being Annalise's shooter in an interview with Variety. King said, "With Connor holding onto her wounds, I was thinking, is this a trick to throw us off? Are we supposed to think that he's innocent, but maybe he's the one who did it and instantly regretted it? He looks so guilty leaning over her. I don't know! But we're all there so it could be any one of us, but right now, I'm more leaning toward Wes or Connor having done the deed."
Given the fact that Wes will team up with an expected ally to get to the bottom of Rebecca's disappearance in episode 3, could this mean that he is a shooter. Fans are aware that Bonnie killed Rebecca to save Annalise, and she kept it a secret from Wes. Hence, when the young law student finds out the entire team, he would sure get mad at his professor.
Also a new tweet from the show's official accounts hints at the Keating Five hiding something from Annalise.
Meanwhile, the latest promo teases nothing good can happen in Annalise's basement. The promo begins with the lawyer hearing a voice coming from the basement, as she goes to check it out with a vase in her hands and claims, "I got a gun!" The promo ends with Annalise freaking out after seeing something in the basement. Is that another body?
