Shahrukh Khan may have skipped the IIFA awards this year (2014), but it didn't seem like the Bollywood star was missed so much - especially when the time came for his Chennai Express co-star Deepika Padukone to shake a leg on their film's hit number 'Lungi Dance'.
Hollywood star and Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey proved to be to the perfect replacement for Khan when it came down to dancing with Padukone on stage.
Apparently, Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar who were hosting IIFA this time requested Spacey to dance on the Bollywood song and the latter happily agreed.
The American Beauty actor then wore a lungi – a traditional South Indian sarong-like garment, and shook a leg on Bollywood rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh's hit number 'Lungi dance' along with Padukone.
That entertaining bit certainly became the defining moment of this year's IIFA awards, reports Bollywood Life.
Spacey's groovy dance moves with the Bollywood stars was certainly the highlight of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in US this year. "The 54-year-old superstar very well made up for Shahrukh Khan's absence at the awards ceremony," states the report.

Another Hollywood star who made IIFA 2014 memorable with his sheer presence was none other than John Trovolta. The Grease actor also entertained the audience by showing off his moves and dancing along with Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra at the show.
IIFA Awards 2014 took place in Tampa Bay, Florida on 26 April and was a star studded event.
