A few more details about HTC's next flagship smartphone codenamed Perfume has emerged. The upcoming handset, HTC 10, would feature a Super LCD 5 screen, but not an AMOLED as reported earlier. It would also pack a 3,000mAh battery, claims notorious Twitter leakstar Evan Blass, who runs the Twitter handle @eveleaks.

Once of the main difference between Super LCD and traditional LCD is there is no air gap between the outer glass and display component. This, in turn, reduces glare and increases visibility while consuming less power. The super LCD display has been already used by HTC.

Information about other hardware details for HTC 10 is scanty at the moment, apart from the screen and type and battery capacity. But earlier rumour suggests the handset will have two camera modules. It is expected to come in four different colour variants such as carbon grey, glacier silver (white face), glacier silver (black face) and topaz gold.

The Snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM would be the power house inside the smartphone. Expect 32GB internal storage which can be expandable via microSD card slot. Other key features are Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with HTC Sense user interface 8.1 on top. HTC is likely to hold a press event sometime in April to make an announcement about HTC 10 handset, which would hit the market within two weeks of the launch event.
