HTC UK has started seeding the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One users in the UK.
HTC, in October, announced that the Android 4.3 update for HTC One users in the UK will be arriving in three to five weeks. As promised, the Taiwanese tech titan has released the Over-The-Air (OTA) update in UK.
"We started rolling out the Android 4.3 update with Sense 5.5 for the HTC One in the UK," confirmed HTC via Twitter. To check for the OTA update, head over to Settings>> About>> Software updates>> Check Now.
The UK update comes after HTC began the Android 4.3 roll-out in some parts of Europe, notes Android Central.The official firmware, with build version 3.62.401.1, weighs in at 675.48MB. Along with Android 4.3, the update brings Sense version 5.5.
The Android 4.3 update brings several new features and improvements for HTC One, which currently runs on Android v4.2.2. Besides, the HTC Sense 5.5 brings new features to BlinkFeed, including Google+, RSS and search support and the option to turn it off entirely. There is also a redesigned Gallery app with new video highlight templates and options.

Android 4.4 KitKat
HTC, in a related news, confirmed that Google's new iteration of Android software, v4.4 KitKat, will be coming to the HTC One by the end of January and the Google Play Edition of the handset will receive the latest Android update sometime around the end of November, reports CNET. The Android KitKat software for HTC One will also bring an update to HTC's Sense interface.
