Android Wear 2.0 for Huawei Watch
Android Wear 2.0 seeding for Huawei Watch Huawei

Android Wear 2.0 update is finally here for Huawei Watch. In March, Google made the update available to the first set of smartwatches such as Fossil Q Founder, Casio Smart Outdoor Watch WSD-F10 and Tag Heuer Connected.

The second batch of wearables including Polar M600, Fossil Q Wander, Q Marshal, Michael Kors Access Bradshaw and Access Dylan and Nixon the Mission received the update last month.

Mainstream smartwatches like Huawei Watch and Moto 360 2nd Gen were left out. Huawei Watch owners can now take advantage of the latest Android Wear version.

Several users reported the rollout on Reddit. Currently, it is seeding for users running the developer preview.

Android Police folks also claim they managed to trigger the update on their Huawei Watch units. Keep tapping the green "system is up to date" screen and ensure the Wi-Fi is turned on.

Alternatively, you can take advantage of the OTA link to update your Huawei Watch manually. You can also check out this guide to know how to get Android Wear 2.0.

The new Android Wear version will make your smartwatch experience better with personalised watch faces that bring glanceable data, track health activities with Google Fit and provide ability to download apps from the Play Store. Google Assistant, which can be used to do everything starting from setting a reminder to getting information about the weather, is also available.
