Premier League results

Burnley 1-0 Stoke

Crystal Palace 2-1 Watford

Huddersfield Town 1-3 Chelsea

An amazing finish at Selhurst Park and Crystal Palace beat Watford in dramatic fashion, a fine end to an otherwise poor evening of Premier League football.

Elsewhere, Chelsea eased past Huddersfield town and Burnley went fourth as they overcame an increasingly doomed Stoke City.

We're back tomorrow night with seven more games including Manchester City and Manchester United both in action.

But until then, it's goodbye.

Full time: Crystal Palace 2-1 Watford

GOAL! Crystal Palace 2-1 Watford (James McArthur)

Palace complete the turnaround as McArthur gets the winner. Watford led with 86 minutes on the clock with 11 men. Hows things have changed.

GOAL! Huddersfield 1-3 Chelsea (Laurent Depoitre)

The last kick of the game sees Depoitre head into the corner from a cross from the left.

GOAL! Crystal Palace 1-1 Watford (Bakary Sako)

Guilty of a few late slip up but Palace have drawn level. Can they get the winner?

RED CARD: Tom Cleverley (Watford)

Late hope for Palace as Watford go down to 10 men as Cleverley challenges Jeffrey Schlupp. Four minutes left for the hosts to take advantage of the numerical advantage.

Full time: Burnley 1-0 Stoke

Burnley up to fourth in the Premier League as Ashley Barnes sends the Clarets into the Champions League places, though still with 21 games to play. Stoke meanwhile remain 15th.

Ampadu on for his Premier League debut for Chelsea as Andreas Christensen goes off. Nice moment for the youngster who has already played in the Carabao Cup twice this season.

GOAL! Burnley 1-0 Stoke (Ashley Barnes)

Depoitre on for Mounie is Huddersfield's final throw of the dice. But Chelsea are easing to victory and look more likely to get a fourth than concede at the other end.

Sums up Stoke's intentions.

Batshuayi on for Hazard. The Belgian's final contribution sees him flick the ball towards Pedro from an audacious angle, but the Spaniard sweeps wide.

Into the final 15 minutes at Turf Moor where it remains goalless. Burnley can go fourth tonight if they beat Stoke. Mark Hughes men stemming the flow so far.

Chance for Huddersfield. Mounie finally gets free and as Courtois comes out he goes to slip the Belgian who though he gets a touch on the ball it spirals into the air and needs Christensen to head it clear.

The boys in dark blue score a third at Huddersfield.

Hazard can't have long left in this game but he wants a goal to show for his slick display. He slaloms down the right and instead of cutting it back for Bakayoko or William is shoots from a tight angle and Lossl saves.

As we approach the time of year when there are boxes of Celebrations at every turn, there are so many Premier League sides where you really don't know what you're going to get. Add Chelsea to that list.

GOAL! Huddersfield 0-3 Chelsea (Pedro)

This game is done. Huddersfield again fail to get any pressure on the ball and when Willian touches back Alonso's cross, Pedro steers home. Forty minutes to make this a rout.

Willian celebrates doubling Chelsea's lead.

Back under way in west Yorkshire and south London.

Perhaps Chelsea haven't turned the corner just yet, but they have certainly moved on nicely from losing at West Ham. Huddersfield, the long trip and the inclement conditions could have made tonight tricky. But they have handled it well and without one or two of their big hitters.

We are under way in the second half at Turf Moor. Updates as and when they happen.

Half time: Crystal Palace 0-1 Watford

Marco Silva is a happy chap again. Darryl Janmaat has the Hornets ahead at the break....

Half time: Huddersfield 0-2 Chelsea

Very easy for Chelsea, who have recovered well from their weekend disappointment. Tiemoue Bakayoko and Willian have them ahead. Huddersfield have run hard in the Yorkshire rain but created next to nothing.

GOAL! Huddersfield 0-2 Chelsea (Willian)

Well this is as easy a goal as you'll see all season. Azpilicueta will a raking ball to the left to Alonso who under now pressure crosses for Willian, all five foot four inches of him and he heads beyond Lossl.

"I'll get hammered either way," says Robbie Savage when asked to determine whether Tiemoue Bakayoko's goal is indeed his, or an own goal. Not his job or anything, of course.

Nearly two for Bakayoko. Willian's free-kick is a decent one and Bakayoko meets it but flicks wide. Not a bad opening. It has been all Chelsea since the goal.

The three-word match report from Turf Moor, where it is Burnley 0-0 Stoke

A history lesson for Chelsea fans tonight. Huddersfield were the first ever club to win three successive titles.

GOAL! Huddersfield Town 0-1 Chelsea (Tiemoue Bakayoko)

And just like that Chelsea hit the front. Lossl clears poorly and Hazard and Willian combine brilliantly to release the onrushing Bakayoko, who chips the Huddersfield 'keeper. Lovely finish but the Terries will be ruing that error.

Not a classic game so far at the John Smith's Stadium. Lots of clapping from the home side, who are offering plenty of heart, but not much end product.

Huddersfield dominating possession early on here. Chelsea happy to sit back, seemingly. The home side can already believe, you can sense.

BALL IN THE NET. But it won't count. Willian and Hazard combine to release Pedro, who slides beyond Lossl, but he is at least two yards offside and play goes back for a free-kick.

GOAL! Crystal Palace 0-1 Watford (Darryl Janmaat)

Under way at the John Smith Stadium and at Selhurst Park.

I covered Huddersfield's win over Manchester United and without wanting to remove any grandeur from the result, the Terriers didn't have to work too hard to beat Jose Mourinho's men. But can they now topple one of his former sides?

Players out for kick-off.

Searching desperately for the negative contained in this tweet.

Burnley can go fourth tonight with a win. Fourth. Above Arsenal, above Liverpool and above Tottenham. A Champions League place beckons if they can beat Stoke tonight. And the Potters are there for the taking, after shipping five at Tottenham over the weekend.

They are under way at Turf Moor, and we'll have news of all the goals as they go in.

Christian Benteke is in the Crystal Palace side tonight, but how exactly will be received tonight when he takes to the field just over 72 hours on from that missed penalty against Bournemouth? Roy Hodgson did not hold back either, but how will get on tonight if another chance goes begging?

It is pouring with rain in Huddersfield which should make it a greasy night, but how can Chelsea's lightning front-three cope tonight?

Alvaro Morata misses out through injury tonight and that sees Pedro and Willian come in to the attack, alongside Eden Hazard who was dreadfully poor over the weekend. He needs to answer a few questions tonight.

Not a bad setting at the John Smith's Stadium.....

And for Julian Speroni. Not sure club legend covers it.

Several landmark appearances taking place tonight. Starting at Huddersfield....

No doubt the recent weather conditions have played havoc with the plans of fans up and down the country, particularly for those Chelsea fans who may have planned to travel to Huddersfield Town tonight. Just the 190-odd miles for those fans to negotiate one-way tonight. Can't blame them for not fancying it.

Not many in place with around 30 minutes until kick-off at Tur Moor.

One change for Crystal Palace from the team which started the 2-2 draw against Bournemouth; Scott Dann comes in for the injured Mamadou Sakho.

Watford make two changes from losing to Burnley. Prödl and Holebas come in for the suspended Zeegelaar and Pereyra.

Just one change for Huddersfield for the visit of the champions. Danny Williams replaces Collin Quaner.

Four changes for Chelsea. In come Antonio Rudiger, Victor Moses, Pedro and Willian. Alvaro Morata is out of the 18 entirely, as is Davide Zappacosta while Cesc Fabregas is on the bench.

And now from Selhurst Park.....

Chelsea arrive at Huddersfield ahead of kick-off. Team news on the way.

Burnley unchanged as you might expect from the win over Watford. Chris Wood leads the attack, with match-winner from that game Scott Arfield in support.

Geoff Cameron is back at right-back after returning against Tottenham in one of two changes for Stoke. Peter Crouch in for Choupo-Moting while Ramadan replaces Tom Edwards.

Our first game tonight from Turf Moor see Burnley host Stoke.

The Clarets could go fourth tonight if they win and they could welcome back Ben Mee from a knee cut but Matt Lowton is missing.

Stoke have Jese on the sidelines as he continues to be with his ill baby son. Glen Johnson is unlikely to return from a knee issue but Geoff Cameron could start for the first time since October.

Our featured game tonight is Huddersfield vs Chelsea, so ahead of the teams being announced at around 7pm how might both line up?

Rajiv van La Parra is likely to return after serving a three-game ban for being sent against Man City. Kasey Palmer, who is on loan from Chelsea, is ineligible to face his parent club.

Chelsea face Southampton this weekend and could end up rotating. Victor Moses, Pedro and Willian were all on the bench against West Ham and could return. danny Drinkwater is a doubt.

With milk-gate and push-gate filling the front pages of websites and the back pages of the newspapers, it is refreshing to get back to some football, after what seems like an age taken up with mindless debate and unedifying chatter.

We have three games tonight which will attempt to take your attention away from the off-the-field hoopla and push the sport to the forefront of our minds. The headline event comes from Huddersfield who host a Chelsea side beat at West Ham rather unceremoniously at the weekend.

Elsewhere, we have two other games to feast on. Crystal Palace host a Watford side who were beaten by Burnley at the weekend, while the clarets host a Stoke side thrashed at Tottenham at Wembley.

And until then we'll have all the team news and discussion on the weekend events and those to come across the next two night, before our first game gets under way at 7:45pm.
