Overview

Hull City welcome Arsenal to the KC Stadium on Monday night, in a clash that has bearing for both teams at either end of the Premier League table.

The Tigers are fighting for their survival and come into this game on the back of consecutive victories over Crystal Palace and Liverpool, which has given them renewed hope of staying in the top division.

Steve Bruce's side are still not guaranteed safety, but they have put a little distance between them and the bottom two teams. They are now in a battle with Leicester City, Newcastle United, Sunderland and Aston Villa to not be that third team in the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Arsenal come into this game as the form team in the Premier League having lost just one game in the league thus far in 2015.

Arsene Wenger's team were on an eight-game winning streak before their draw against Chelsea last weekend.

The Gunners are hoping to finish second in the Premier League for the first time since 2005, and hold that fate in their own hands, as if they win all their remaining games, they will be ensured a runner-up finish behind newly crowned champions Chelsea.

The Frenchman has a fully fit squad ahead of this clash and will have a selection dilemma on his hands until the end of the season.

What Managers Say

Steve Bruce: "We've still got four games to play and I don't think 34 points is enough, history tells us that. We've got to produce another few performances and another couple of good results. It's difficult against Arsenal but we went to the Emirates and got a result down there so if we are capable of doing that then we've got a chance at our place."

Arsene Wenger [on Hull City]: "They had two great performances when they were in quite a bad situation, but they had two amazing results, Hull have just beaten Liverpool at home, so we are warned that we will face a big challenge there."
