Salma Hayek says her weakening eyesight is the worst part about aging Getty

At 50, Salma Hayek looks like she is handling ageing with as much grace and élan as possible. And while she continues to rock a stunning figure, the actress does have moments when she wishes she did not have to work so hard at it.

"I will sometimes say, 'I am 50 years old! Why do I have to look good? I already got my guy!,'" Hayek said in her cover interview with The Edit, referring to her husband, luxury brand tycoon François-Henri Pinault. "But then, I don't want to lose the guy, either."

While age does come with its challenges, the Mexican beauty has bigger worries than wrinkles. "The worst part of the aging process has been my eyes," she explained. "Not the wrinkles — the eyes themselves. I'm such a visual person and I cannot read without depending on glasses.

"It has been really, really sad. The eyes, for me, that's worse than the menopause."

In June, Hayek shared a topless photo on Instagram, showing off her envious curves and while the actress is proud of her fuller figure, she does wish it was easier to keep in shape.

"I'm not going to lie to you, I would like the curve to go in instead of out in some places, but I love a little curve," she said in her interview with Net-A-Porter's magazine.

"I love the word 'curvy'; it's artistic," she adds. "A straight line can be boring."

Hayek's latest project, The Hitman's Body Guard is set to release in the UK on 17 August. Ahead of the film hitting theatres in the US (18 August), the actress shared a funny photo of her visit to co-star Ryan Reynold's home on 10 August.

In the image shared on Instagram, the Frida actress is seen wearing an apron as she carries Reynold's and Blake Lively's 10-month-old daughter Ines and stirs a large copper pot on the stove. The Deadpool star can be seen clapping his hands in the background.

"When your friends invite you for dinner and you end up doing all the work," she captioned the post, in both English and Spanish.
