England's hope of making it to the quarter finals of the 2015 ICC World Cup was crushed after they suffered a defeat at the hands of Bangladesh.

The Three Lions still have a game in hand against Afghanistan and the outcome of that match will have no impact on the table as Bangladesh have made it to the knockout stage of the tournament.

The Asian side went on to post a total of 275 runs while losing seven wickets in the process. In reply, the English side were bowled out for 260 runs. Bangladesh won the match by 15 runs and also made it to the quarter finals for the first time in their history.

IBTimes UK brings you reactions from the social media following England's ouster from the World Cup.

Need more players with Jordan's passion in this team. You can see what it means to him to play for England. #ENGvBAN

England have given a lot of people a lot to cheer about at this World Cup. Australians, New Zealanders, Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis...
