Iceland take on Hungary in the Euro 2016 clash in a group F fixture at the Stade Velodrome, Marseille, in France on Saturday, 18 June.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is at 5pm BST. BBC One and BBC One HD will provide live coverage of the match in the UK.

Overview

Iceland announced themselves in the tournament with a brilliantly orchestrated 1-1 draw with Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal on matchday one and a win over Hungary should see them well placed to move into the round of 16. It was a match of firsts for Iceland, who were playing their first game in a major tournament in their history.

Prospects looked bleak when Nani scored Portugal's goal but a Birkir Bjarnason equaliser made sure that Iceland took home a point with their first-ever goal in a major tournament. Ronaldo went on a major rant over Iceland's tactics, stating that they sat deep and did not want to play football but everything will be vindicated should they progress further in the competition.

Meanwhile, Hungary's 2-0 win over Austria was by far the upset of the tournament, with Bayern Munich fame David Alaba and others failing to stem the flow of goals into the back of the net. The Hungarians sit top of the group at this point and will be the first team from the group to progress should they beat Iceland.
