IFA Berlin 2014, one of the most important events of the technology industry, begins on 5 September, 2014 and lasts till 10 September, 2014. The fair is expected to serve as a launch pad for some of the year's most exciting consumer technology, including an assortment of devices from companies like Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC, Nokia, Asus, Acer, Huawei, Microsoft and others.

The most anticipated devices on the list include the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the Sony Xperia Z3, the LG G Watch R, the Sony Smartwatch 3, and many others.

Samsung

The company is expected to launch the latest smartphone in its popular Note range, the Note 4. The smartphone is expected to have a 5.7-inch screen with a 2K resolution, a a Retina scanner, UV sensor, a top notch processing package and stellar camera features.

Be sure to watch Samsung's Unpacked event online via live stream on YouTube. The event will take place at 3pm CEST, which will be 10am ET.

Friday, 5 September, 5 pm

Intel designs and builds the essential technologies that serve as the foundation for the world's computing devices. Kirk Skaugen, senior vice president and general manager of the Personal Computing Group for Intel Corporation, will reveal new products and Intel's plans to usher in a new era of computing devices with its latest technology during his keynote address at the IFA 2014. Intel is a world leader in computing innovation.

Saturday, 6 September, 10.30 am

In 2010, together with Matt Rogers, Fadell set up Nest Labs, which in January 2014 was sold to Google Inc. for $3.2 billion. In May 2014, Time magazine named Tony Fadell, CEO of Nest Labs, as one of the world's 100 most influential people. Tony had previously worked for Apple, where he was instrumental in developing the first generations of iPods as well as the iPhone. He holds more than 300 patents.
