Fancy rapper Iggy Azalea says she may never return to social media after users left offensive comments about her bikini body.

The 24-year-old suddenly quit her Twitter and Instagram accounts in February, leaving it in the hands of her management. In an interview with the Associated Press, Azalea says she is enjoying the online break.

"Yeah, so nice not to be on social media so I'm kind of going to continue that until, maybe forever. I think it's disgusting. I don't think it's nice to stick your camera through somebody's fence and hedge and take a picture of them in their yard and think that's OK at all," she admitted.

In February, the Australian rapper was furious after paparazzi took photos of her wearing a bikini while on holiday with her boyfriend Nick Young. The images prompted social media users to leave nasty comments about her "cellulite".

Following the incident, Azalea blasted the media and announced that she would be stepping away from her social networks:

But the controversy has not stopped there. The Black Widow rapper has pushed back her Great Escape tour, which was due to kick off in April, to September, citing production issues.

Azalea is confident she made the right choice to postpone the tour, telling AP: "The whole point was to make no compromises, but nothing's changed in terms of my creative vision. It's very kind of like Patrick Nagel, powerful 80s androgynous women vibe. I didn't anticipate having any time to completely finish it, but now that I have kind of the time, I'd love to have an album at the end of 2015."

In a dramatic twist, r'n'b singer Tinashe has switched sides by joining rival Nicki Minaj's Pinkprint tour this summer. It is not known if Nick Jonas will remain a part of Azalea's tour.
