Laila Khan
Indian agencies suspect the "Waffa" actress of having terror links Youtube

Missing Bollywood actress Laila Khan is reportedly living in Dubai, where she married the son of Kamal Yadwani, a close associate of India's most wanted criminal, Dawood Ibrahim.

Khan's friend, Parvez Tak, told Mumbai police who arrested him that he met the actress in February 2011, at around the same time that she went missing. He said that Yadwani helped Khan and her family get hold of fake passports to fly out of India.

Police are investigating the disappearance and alleged links between Khan, who starred in the 2008 movie Waffa, and the outlawed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist group.

Based in Pakistan, LeT is believed to be behind the bomb attack on Delhi high court in September 2011. Khan is accused of helping the militants with information and route maps to carry out the attack. She was allegedly in close contact with Parvezs Iqbal Tak, a notorious member of the terror outfit who was arrested recently.

Investigators found a Mistubishi Outlander, under Khan's mother's name, Saleena Patel, in a garage in Kishtwar in the district of Jammu and Kashmir. The car was believed to have been used to carry explosives for the attack.

"We will interrogate Tak to find out the whereabouts of Laila and her family," said deputy inspector-general Gareeb Dass.
