India come into this game after registering a comfortable victory over England during the warm-up fixtures. After being put into bat and losing both openers cheaply, India rallied through a brilliant partnership between captain Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina, which hauled the team up to a commanding total of 178-4.

In reply, England only managed to score 158 from their 20 overs, losing six wickets in the process. India lost to Sri Lanka by five runs in the first warm-up game.

Pakistan suffered a defeat in the last warm-up game against South Africa, as the Proteas registered an eight-wicket victory with six overs to spare. Mohammad Hafeez's side won the toss and chose to bat. They were bowled out for 71 in 17.3 overs, with Umar Akmal top scoring with 17 runs.

Both sides will be looking for a victory on Friday as they kick-start the T20 World Cup at Mirpur.
