The terms and conditions screen issue while installing Apple's new iOS 8.1.2 update appears to be slightly annoying. It seems users cannot get past the Terms and Conditions screen while installing the over-the-air update.
If this issue is causing headache for you, don't worry. There are a few workarounds for this which will help you get past the Terms and Conditions screen and install then OTA update smoothly.
- When you tap on Agree and nothing happen then tap on Disagree to cancel the installation process. Navigate to Settings>> iCloud, tap on the Apple ID/email address and enter your password. You might get prompt to accept terms and conditions. You can now Agree to accept the terms and conditions and login to iCloud account.
- You can now try to install the iOS 8.1.2 OTA update. Head over to Settings>> General>> Software Update. And you should now be able to overcome the Terms and Conditions screen and install the update.
- If the aforementioned procedure is not helpful enough, then try to restart or, hard reset your device and once the device has rebooted successfully, try to install iOS 8.1.2 update.
- If both the methods fail to work, you can manually install the update using iTunes on your iOS device. Click here to check the step-by-step guide to install iOS 8.1.2 on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch via iTunes.
