Police have released an image of a man wanted in connection with stealing a batch of new iPhone 5s worth more than £150,000 from a shop in southwest London.

Usman Sethi, 23, is accused of stealing 252 phones from an O2 shop where he works in Wimbledon.

Police say the phones were taken from the store at round 01:30am on 21 September, after it had taken a delivery. The phones were due to go on sale at 09:00am.

A quantity of cash was also stolen from the in-store safe.

Police also wish to speak with Sethi, from Ilford, in Essex, in connection with the theft of jewellery belonging to a family member from his home address in Audley Gardens on the same morning.

He described is an Asian man, 6'1" and a Pakistani national. He may be driving a grey Ford Mondeo.

The iPhone 5 was launched by Apple on 21 September and retails for between £529 and £699.
