Australian all-rounder Shane Watson is in awe of Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper, claiming that 'no one can ever play like that'. Kohli scored his fourth ton of the 2016 edition of the Indian Premier League to help Bangalore beat Kings XI Punjab by 82 runs via the Duckworth/Lewis method.

Kohli has been in brilliant form in the IPL scoring 865 runs in 13 games at an average of 86.50 with a strike rate of 155. He has gone past the previous record of most number of runs in a season set in 2013 by his teammate Chris Gayle.

"No one can ever play like that. To be able to score one century in your entire T20 career is an incredible feat but for someone to score four hundreds in a single edition of the IPL," said Watson as quoted by cricbuzz.

The Indian test captain and South African AB De Villiers have been the pillars on which Bangalore has based their batting. The two have scored more than 800 runs together, a feat unachieved by any other pair in T20 history.

Watson said: "Virat and AB De Villiers, they're playing a different game at the moment. Their control and what they're doing is mind blowing. It's a privilege to be able to play with RCB, to get to know Virat and AB, off the field as well and see what incredible people they are."

The 34-year-old has not had a lot to do with the bat but has been impressive with the ball picking up 16 wickets and is currently placed fourth among the wicket-takers.

Watson says meticulous planning is the only way to rein in Kohli.

"Every time I have played against Virat, there always have been specific plans, more on how to contain him. He rarely makes a mistake. As a bowler, I just want to contain him as much as I can. It's more about trying to mix it up so that he doesn't really have much of an idea about where I am going to bowl at. But by the end of the third over or so he is reading me like a book and hits wherever he wants."

After a slow start to the tournament, RCB have stormed back and are one win away from qualifying for the play-off stage. They will be next seen in action when they face the Delhi Daredevils in a must-win game at Raipur on 22 May (Sunday).
