Rising Pune Supergiants face a daunting task against table toppers Kolkata Knight Riders at the MCA Stadium in Pune on 24 April.

Pune have been rocked by news that Kevin Pietersen will play no further part in IPL 2016 due to a calf muscle tear sustained in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 22 April. MS Dhoni's side fell to a 13-run defeat against Bangalore and are seventh on the table after four matches. They are priced at 6/5 by Betfair to bounce back with a win against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Gautam Gambhir's Kolkata beat Kings XI Punjab by six wickets on their last outing, chasing down a modest target of 139 with 17 balls to spare. With three wins from their first four matches, KKR are top of the IPL table, courtesy their superior net run rate compared to the Delhi Daredevils.

Ajinkya Rahane top scored with 60 against Bangalore and is 15/8 to repeat that feat against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Faf du Plessis is at 13/5 while Australia's Steve Smith is at 7/2.

Gambhir is 2/1 to continue his rich vein of form and top the run charts for his team. His opening partner Robin Uthappa is priced at 9/4 and Manish Pandey is at 7/2.
