The 2017 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction saw 66 players being collectively sold to the eight franchises, of the 351 players who were up for grabs at Bengaluru's Ritz-Carlton on 20 February. While the auction saw several high profile buys, it also saw a few star players going unsold.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes was the top buy of this year's auction as he was sold for Rs 145m (£1.73m, $2.16m) to Rising Pune Supergiants. He became the most expensive player ever to be bought at an IPL auction. Royal Challengers Bangalore signed Stokes' compatriot Tymal Mills for Rs 120m (£1.43m, $1.79m).

India's pacer Ishant Sharma was one of the biggest upsets as he went unsold in Monday's auction, while Mohammad Nabi created history after he became the first Afghan player to feature in the 10<sup>th edition of the IPL. IBTimes UK looks at the full list of players for IPL 2017.
