Meanwhile, UAE enter the second fixture in search of their first win in this edition of the World Cup. Mohammad Tauqir's side came close to sealing their first victory, only to be denied by Zimbabwe in the late stages of the match.

UEA posted a total of 285 runs and Zimbabwe managed to achieve the target with two overs to spare and winning the match by four wickets. Sean Williams' unbeaten 76 helped the African nation avoid a defeat in the early stages of the tournament.
