ISIS We will burn America video
A new Islamic State propaganda video has threatened attacks on US soil

The Islamic State (Isis) propaganda machine has released a graphic video threatening US nationals around the world and warning of a new 9/11-style attack.

The 11-minute slickly-produced clip claims jihadi movements have grown more powerful since al-Qaeda attacked New York City and Washington 14 years ago and are now again capable of striking on American soil.

"Today there is no safety for any American on the globe," a voice says in the video, while showing footage of late al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden and planes crashing into the World Trade Center.

"The mujahedeen before, although they had less resources, attacked New York and bombed the Twin Towers," the man continues.

"Today the mujahedeen are much more stronger [sic] and they have more resources than before, thus they are able to burn United States again."

The video titled We Will Burn America contains gruesome footage extracted from earlier IS releases, including the beheadings of US journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff and the burning of Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh.

It shows news reports of Islamist shootings in Paris and Ottawa to substantiate the claim that after France and Canada, a terror attack on the US is also possible.

"That is how Europe become [sic] today. No safety and security," the clip says. "And by Allah permission soon America will follow ... And September 11 will be repeated."

It ends with the extremist group bragging about recent cyber attacks against French television network TV5Monde and the US Central Command hacking.

The video was released as IS is actually facing increased pressure following an US-led air strike campaign in Iraq and Syria and a ground counter-offensive by Iraqi government troops backed by Shi'ite militias, which has started yielding significant success with the liberation of Tikrit at the end of March.
