One of the key features in Apple's new iPad is the Retina Display.

The improved display functionality of the tablet, according to company claims, delivers four times the number of pixels of the iPad 2. In addition, the display sports 3.1 million pixels, which is a million more than an HD TV. The display sports a 44 percent increase in colour saturation and is capable of playing video at 1080p HD.

To complement the new feature, Apple has launched a new section on iTunes - "Great apps for the new iPad", according to TNW. The section contains many apps that are Retina-enabled and take advantage of the new iPad's high resolution Retina Display. The apps in the section have been reportedly updated and re-submitted to Apple since the iOS development kit was released two weeks ago.
