Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin dating: Coldplay singer wants to divorce Gwyneth Paltrow for Hunger Games star?

Almost one year after Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow announced that they were separating, the Coldplay singer is ready to file for divorce.

According to a report in OK magazine, Martin is already looking into finalising his divorce with Paltrow to prove his love for Jennifer Lawrence.

"He loves Gwyneth and his kids, but enough is enough," an insider told the website.. "He put his foot down and told her he's ready to file."

The 37-year-old Coldplay frontman started dating Lawrence in June last year.

There was talk that Martin had reconciled with Paltrow toward the end of last year, especially after rumours started swirling of Martin and Lawrence's split.

However, a source denied those claims and told the magazine, that the exes were both interested in moving on.

"There's definitely some kind of 'race' on between Chris and Gwyneth to see who can settle down first with a new partner," the source said.

Previously, Paltrow in an interview with Harper's Bazaar UK, talked about her relationship with Chris Martin, and admitted that sometimes she wished they hadn't decided to break it off.

She told the magazine: "I feel like I would have died somehow if I hadn't met him at that time. I felt like I was going to die of grief. I remember waking up, on one particular night, where I felt like I was having a heart attack and I couldn't breathe... I lay on the floor of my apartment in London and I thought, 'I'm not going to survive this.' And he just picked me up and he was so loving and patient through all my grieving."

After announcing their separation in March, Paltrow said that their relationship is "always a moving, amorphous thing" as they remain a huge part of each other's lives.

"It's painful, it's difficult, it might be easier to say, 'I never want to see you again', but what good does that do anyone?" she said.

The Iron Man actress announced that they were "consciously uncoupling" in March 2014. The couple were married for ten years and have two children, Apple and Moses.
