Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrated the birthday of her son Dylan, who turned 17 on Tuesday (8 August) by sharing an adorable video on social media.

The Mask of Zorro star, who also shares 14-year-old daughter Carys with actor Michael Douglas, took to Instagram to post the short clip which shows sweets memories of Dylan growing up from a newborn child to a teenager while giving glimpses into the life of the A-list family.

The video opens with the 47-year-old actress cuddling her newborn baby boy, with the song Start Me Up from the Rolling Stones playing in the background. Next, Michael Douglas, 72, is seen holding his son in his arm and staring at him with affection right after his birth in a hospital.

The clip goes on to chronicle Dylan's transformation from a newborn to a teenager, who possesses many talents such as singing, dancing, playing the guitar, riding dirt bikes and scuba diving among other activities.

"Don't 'START ME UP' on how much I love you," Catherine captioned the post she shared with her 881,000 fans on the photo and video sharing platform.

She added, "Dylan, you are truly a remarkable young man. You are the joy of my life. 17 years old today! Happy Birthday sweetheart @dy1and."

Since uploading the video, the post has garnered more than 88,000 likes, with fans rushing to wish the birthday boy.

"Dylan looks so much like you...Amazing moments amazing video!" a fan commented.

Another said, "Looks like one talented young man with an awesome personality!"

"So much love. I love that he responded to you. That is beautiful xxxx happy birthday," a third fan said.

Another added, "Happy Birthday to you boy that will always be you little baby."
