Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has accused the English FA of using rising star Jordan Rossiter "like a horse". Klopp's comments came after Rossiter was injured while on England U19 duty, playing three times in less than a week.

The teenager will miss Liverpool's Europa League clash with Rubin Kazan on Thursday (23 October). Speaking to reporters at Liverpool's Melwood training ground the previous day, Klopp was quick to go on the attack.

"These young players are our future," he said. "If we handle them like horses, we will get horses. We want them to improve and they get better and they get field time, not too much pressure. They don't have to play three games in five days, that is all I want to say."
