Julien Macdonald
British designer Julien Macdonald is said to be in talks with the BBC over competing as a contestant in Strictly Come Dancing.

British fashion designer Julien Macdonald is rumoured to be preparing to make his debut on Strictly Come Dancing.

The former Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model judge is the latest name said to be joining the line-up for the new series of the BBC1 ballroom show.

The 42-year-old has dressed Dannii Minogue, Geri Halliwell, Shirley Bassey, Carmen Electra, Naomi Campbell and Beyoncé Knowles and famously once had a spat with Cheryl Cole after he branded her a "chav" at a party.

According to the Sun, Macdonald is in talks with producers who are hoping he will bring some "camp fun" to the show.

"Julien would be great fun and producers hope he would bring his celeb mates to cheer him on, " a source said.

Macdonald joins Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Vanessa Feltz and Abbey Clancy as a possible judge.

A spokesperson for Macdonald has declined to comment.
