She may be royalty but Kate Middleton has showed once again that she still loves her high street finds.

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out last night in a £69.99 Zara cocktail dress as she and Prince William joined the parents -in-laws Charles and Camilla at a pop concert organised by Take That's Gary Barlow.

The affordable black and cream lace tulip mini-dress from Zara's new season, which was given the seal of approval from fashion critics across the globe, has already sold out online.

Although the tulip design was a far cry from Kate's usual attire, she put her own regal stamp on it by teaming it up with opaque black tights and matching heels as well as classic black Ralph Lauren jacket she wore the day after her wedding.

Maybe the significantly higher hemline was for her husband's benefit as the charity concert marked the couple's first joint public engagement.

Known for her love of British high street fashion, this is not the first time Kate has championed a British high street store.

Earlier this year, she wore a Reiss dress to meet the Obama's causing the dress to sell out and the retailer's site to crash as fans rushed to get their hands on the £159 dress.

Here are just a few of Kate's best high street outfits. Not too bad for a princess who has snubbed stylists in favour of shopping at high street favourites Reiss, Zara, LK Bennett and Topshop herself.
