Kate Middleton recycled yet another dress - this time to children's sporting event at Vernon Park in Nottingham, on Wednesday. The Duchess of Cambridge, who was at the event with Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, proved herself to be more than a royal clotheshorse. The visit to Nottingham, with the Queen, was part of the continuing diamond jubilee tour.

The Duchess wore the same powder blue tweed coat dress by Missoni which she wore in March to Fortnum & Mason. However, just to keep things a little fresh, Catherine ensured she opted for different accessories. This time around, the dress was teamed with a Rachel Trevor Morgan navy cocktail hat; the last time it was a real flower brooch. The Duchess, who was greeted by over 30,000 people in Nottingham, also wore a pair of navy court shoes instead of the dove grey stilettos she slipped on two months ago for the same dress.

The royal wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William, held on 29 April, 2011, was in no way a low-key affair. However, the couple has always tried to keep their life as low profile as possible and Kate has often said she did not want to be portrayed as simply a fashionable doll.

The Duchess has done precisely that by repeating elements of her wardrobe at various occasions, varying from public engagements to royal family ceremonies, without losing poise, elegance, style or in any way compromising the gravity of each situation.

This isn't the first time either.

Kate Middleton was seen in one of her older but favorite outfits at the wedding of Zara Phillip (the eldest granddaughter of the Queen) to England rugby captain Mike Tindall in July. The Duchess wore the same dress which she wore for the wedding of Laura Parker Bowles and Harry Lopes at St Cyriac's Church in Lacock, in Wiltshire in May 2006.

Catherine even repeated her wardrobe during a trip to Canada in July 2011, which was her first official trip overseas after her marriage to Prince William and as a member of the British royal family.
