Catherine Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, looked gorgeous as she joined Prince William on an official visit to the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland.

The 31-year-old pregnant royal wrapped up her growing baby bump underneath a tartan coat from Gloucestershire-based brand Moloh and combined it with tall black boots by Aquatalia by Marvin K.

The royal couple kicked off their two-day Scotland trip by touring the arena, including the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, where several events will be held for the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. They also met with various athletes as well as the mascot - Clive the Thistle.

Later, they stopped at the City Hall Civic Chambers for lunch before visiting the Quarriers' Stopover Homeless Shelter. Prince William and Kate Middleton also had a Skype conversation with two homeless people from the shelter, who were in Holland on an exchange program.

Rachel Sawyer, a project manager at the shelter, asked the Duchess about her due date and if she had any names for the baby.

"It's around mid-July but apparently babies have their own agenda ...," she replied, "We have a shortlist for both [boy and girl] but it's very difficult. My friends keep texting me names."

When asked if she had got her nursery ready, she responded: "No... we have got a lot to do!"

Finally, they headed to the Donald Dewar Leisure Centre and launched a sports coaching project for their Royal Foundation.

"Glasgow is a city with a great buzz and enormous optimism. The Commonwealth Games here next year will be brought to life by Glasgow's youthful energy, creativity, and its unrivalled cultural heritage," Prince William said, adding, "Glasgow would also be tremendous host - if successful, as we hope you are - for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games, continuing the legacy from last year."

While in Scotland, Prince William and the Duchess are known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn. It is a place close to the two, where they met as students at St Andrew's University in 2001.
