Kate Moss has joined the growing list of A-listers slapping down wannabe celebrities.

The 38-year-old blonde supermodel made her snipe during new Sky Arts documentary, Celebrity Exposed: The Photography of Richard Young.

She explained that celebrity status had lost its "value" and that a celebrity now was just "someone on the telly".

The programme covers four decades of social reportage photography and also looks at what Young's pictures have come to represent.

Other celebrity royalty including Sir Elton John, Vivienne Westwood, Steven Berkoff, Tracey Emin, will also give their twopence-worth on celeb culture. They are not likely to be flattering about the upstarts.

The series airs on 8 May.
