Katherine Heigl
For six seasons, Heigl played Izzie Stevens on Grey's Anatomy ABC official website

Grey's Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl left the show on bad terms with its writer and showrunner Shonda Rhimes. Now, post a recent snide remark about her made by Rhimes, the actress wishes she could undo her bad impression.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rhimes candidly noted that she's grateful there are "no Heigls" among the cast members on her ongoing hit show Scandal.

When Extra asked Heigl about her former boss' negative comment, the State of Affairs actress said that "it sucks" but went on with a very diplomatic response:

"I'm sorry that she feels that way, and I wish her nothing but greatness, and I have nothing negative to say about Shonda," she said. "I'm a big fan of her work. I watch Scandal every week. I'm sorry she's left with such a crappy impression of me. I wish I could do something to change that. Maybe I will be able to someday."

Speaking about her reputation for unprofessional behaviour on sets, Heigl said: "There's nothing I can do about this except to sort of prove it wrong. And the only way for me to prove it wrong is for people to have a work experience with me that doesn't speak to that at all."

Grey's Anatomy Season 11, Episode 8 titled 'Risk' airs on Thursday 20 November, at 8.00 pm ET on ABC.

Scandal Season 4, Episode 9 'Where the Sun Don't Shine' airs on Thursday 20 November at 9.00 pm EST on ABC.
