Bruce and Kris Jenner
Ex-Olympian Bruce Jenner (L) allegedly had a 'chunk of tissue' removed from his nose to treat skin cancer.

Keeping up with the Kardashians star Bruce Jenner has reportedly undergone surgery for skin cancer.

Kim Kardashian's stepfather recently sparked speculation that he had had more cosmetic surgery after he was spotted with a bandage on his nose while getting his morning coffee near his home in Calabasas.

But TMZ reports that the 63-year-old was actually recuperating after having cancerous tissue removed from his face.

The celebrity website claims Jenner had to have 30 stitches after the procedure to treat the condition, which is linked to sun exposure.

Although the ex-Olympic athlete is feeling good after the health scare he "will probably have a big scar on his nose", an insider said.

It was previously reported that Jenner went through a similar experience last year, with cancerous tissue on the side of his face. He was pictured in January 2012 with stitches on the side of his cheek.

Jenner is the biological father of teenagers Kendall and Kylie Jenner with Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner.

He has four children from previous relationships.
