Kelly Brook has announced that she has broken off her engagement to David McIntosh.
The model and actress made the announcement on Twitter on Friday night, (26 September).
"It's a sad Day but I wanted to share with you that David and I are no longer engaged," she tweeted. "I love and respect him and wish him all the best."
She has also deleted all photos of him from her Instagram account.
Brook accepted McIntosh's proposal just eight weeks after meeting him on New Year's Eve.
The marriage proposal seemed to seal the deal and the pair were inseparable when in London and in Los Angeles where Kelly was shooting the comedy pilot One Big Happy.

Their engagement itself came as a surprise since only two week earlier the pair had split up for the first time, after Brook seems to fear that he was cashing in on her fame.
A source said at the time: "Kelly got tired of the relationship and David trying to hog the limelight. She realised he was enjoying the fame a bit too much and wasn't as serious about her as she thought."
The news of their break up comes just a week after David and Kelly were seen frolicking in the sea, kissing and hugging during a holiday in Greece.
By Wednesday the former Gladiator star was tweeting how much he was missing Brook.
This summer, McIntosh joined the line-up on Celebrity Big Brother, and while his fiancé's failed to make an appearance in support of him, the pair remained publicly smitten as Kelly promoted her raunchy memoirs.
In Close Up included intimate details of her past lovers and former fiancés Jason Statham, Billy Zane and Thom Evans.
Brook is currently in Los Angeles.
