Kendall Jenner's year has gone from bad to worse. She garnered fierce criticism for her controversial Pepsi advert, was forced to pull her "disrespectful" vintage t-shirt range −which featured the images of iconic figures like of Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G. and Black Sabbath and was accused of appropriating Indian culture on an international Vogue cover. Now she is being called out for allegedly being tight-fisted.

A bar in Brooklyn claims the 21-year-old star, who is worth an estimated £80m ($104m), recently visited the establishment and failed to tip her bartender.

Baby's All Right's official Instagram account posted a photo of a receipt for $24, which features a signature for 'Jenner/Kendall N.' The cheeky employee behind the post pointed out that the "tip" line of the receipt was left blank with the caption: "Don't forget to tip your bartender :)"

The image, which has over 4000 likes and counting has divided fans. Some claimed that "It's common courtesy to tip a waitress/bartender" and branded her "cheap". One commentator said: "@babysallright hopefully Kendall will do the right thing and return with a very generous tip!!! It would be a nice gesture and the right thing to do :)"

However, others quickly came to the reality star's defence and accused the bar of being unprofessional for trying to force her hand when tipping wasn't mandatory.

"She could've tipped cash," one commentator offered while another added: "How about it's her money and she can do whatever she wants with it? Maybe the service was bad? Maybe she ordered something small that took little to no service, therefore only warrants the salary they already make? Cannot stand when establishments demand a tip. And so annoying when someone (no matter who) gets publicly shamed for not doing what is OPTIONAL."

While it is not clear when she visited the popular haunt the bar did host the album A$AP Twelvyy's album release party on 3 August and Jenner's pal A$AP Rocky even took to the stage. She has yet to comment on the allegations.

Don't forget to tip your bartender :)
