Days after he recreated his infamous Kim Kardashian sex tape with Joan Rivers, Ray J has sparked fresh controversy by comparing a fan to an ape.
The 33-year-old singer was accused of bullying when he claimed a woman looked like a character from the film, Planet of the Apes.
Brandy Norwood's younger brother posted the picture of the fan posing on Instagram and captioned it: "I usually don't go this hard but ... This chick looks exactly like a character on Planet of the Apes...I'm not even joking."
"Making fun of someone's looks amounts to bullying. What a POS Ray J. is!" one unimpressed fan said.
Another wrote:" I'm not a fan of attacking people for their DNA, they have no control over that."
The woman, whose name is Tina Chastang, told TMZ that although she had been taunting the One Wish crooner for months by posting inflammatory comments on his Instagram like, "Ray J you are irrelevant," she still deserved an apology.
She says she was singled out from thousands of fans who insult him every day and that he has used his platform to humiliate her in front of the world.
Although he has deleted the post, the star allegedly defended his actions.
"This girl is an Instagram bully. She's been making negative comments on everything Ray J posts for months," a source close to Ray J said.
"He's been trying to take the high road, but finally decided he needed to give her a taste of her own medicine."
