Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to Marry in May

Keeping up with the Kardashians fans start should shopping for a hat because the queen of reality TV has finally set a date for her wedding.

Kim Kardashian and her rapper fiancé Kanye West are getting married in Paris in May, after bringing their lavish nuptials two months forward.

According to sources close to the couple, they cannot wait to become husband and wife. Wedding plans were well under way.

They are said to be planning "lots of events leading up to the big day" for guests.

Friends have claimed that twice-divorced Kardashian is not keen on an extravagant ceremony but West, who has never married, wants them to go all out.

"Kim isn't totally pumped about a huge wedding. But she's going along with it," a source told Us Weekly magazine.

Although she was happy to take a back seat on most aspects of their big day, she is actively hunting for the perfect dress. She is expected to have only one dress change.

It is also believed that the couple's eight-month-old daughter, North West, will be play an important role in the ceremony.

"North will have a large role in the wedding," the insider added.

The wedding will be the second of Kardashian's nuptials to be televised on her hit show. Her wedding to now ex-husband Kris Humphries in August 2011, reportedly made her over $10m.
