On February 25, the Kardashian sibling told Ryan Seacrest that she was planning an intimate wedding in Paris.

"We're having a super, super small, intimate wedding. As we go along, we're realizing we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking."

Meanwhile, her rapper fiancé is reportedly taking charge of the entire event, which is believed to be timed to coincide with a meteor shower that will light up the sky.

"Kanye is obsessed with creating moments, like he did with the baseball-stadium engagement," a source told Life & Style.

"Now he's working on all these huge surprises for the wedding, but as a result she has virtually no idea what is going to happen at her own wedding. She's been kept in the dark about a lot of the details, and that doesn't make her happy."

Going against tradition, West will also decide on the wedding gown.

While the couple's daughter North "will have a large role in the wedding," they are also expected to fly in their A-list friends, including Beyonce and Jay Z, several days before the wedding ceremony.

The couple, who have been looking for a suitable venue for the wedding, were spotted near the Palace of Versailles and France's Chateau d'Usse.

It's the third wedding for Kim Kardashian, who was earlier married to record producer Damon Thomas. Their relationship ended in divorce in 2004.

She then married NBA player Kris Humphries in an extravagant wedding ceremony on 20 August 2011in Montecito, California with 500 guests attending the nuptials. Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries on October 31, after 72 days of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

Around the same time she began dating long-time friend Kanye West, though she remained legally married to Humphries.

On December 31, 2012, Kardashian and West announced that she was pregnant with their first child, a girl named North.
