American television personality Kim Kardashian has reportedly received backlash from her family for commenting on Bruce Jenner's transition from a man to a woman.

During an interview with ET, the 34-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star spoke out about the 65-year-old former Olympian's "journey" and said he would talk about it at the right time.

"I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he'll share whenever the time is right," she said. "I feel like that's his journey to talk about."

According to Heat magazine, the Kardashian clan were not happy about Kanye West wife's comments.

"Kim's in a lot of trouble with the rest of the family for talking about Bruce like that," an insider said, via the Independent. "Everyone's saying she should have just said he was happy and left it there. Khloé, especially, was fuming about it. She thinks they should be there for Bruce but in a private way."

Adding on, Kim's half-sister Kendall Jenner, who is very close to Bruce, was affected the most by Kim's remarks.

It was previously reported that the 18-year-old model and Kylie Jenner are worried that people will bully their father, after he completes his gender affirmation surgery.

"She's very upset and confused, and just not dealing any of this well," the source added. "She insists that the family need to show support, but it needs to be in private. Now, she sees Kim talk about it on TV, and that's hard for her."
