In breaking the internet department, Kim Kardashian is facing some serious competition from Nicki Minaj, who graces the latest cover of Paper magazine. The Anaconda rapper posed three saucy versions of herself for the cover shot by Ellen Von Unworth – the first look of which was shared by Minaj with her Instagram fans.

"Wanna Minaj?" the 34-year-old singer teased, sharing a glimpse of the racy picture from the winter issue that was also shared on the magazine's official account. "BTW, this is our new cover. #BreakTheInternet cc @NickiMinaj," their photo caption read.

Grabbing eyeballs, a trio of Nicki features on the cover shot in various stages of undress – while one smoulders into the lenses while perched topless on a chair, the other two strike an extremely suggestive pose.

Needless to say, the sensational image has stirred the internet's curiosity and raked in over 987,000 like within four hours of being posted on social media.

"Internet=Broken," one of Nicki's 84.1 million followers commented, as another added, "A million times better than Kim's."

It was originally the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star, Kim, who had sparked a meltdown in 2014 with her personal Paper mag cover.

Photographed by Jean-Paul Goude, Kardashian's infamous cover shots included a bare-bottom, greased up image as well as another in which the 37-year-old star balanced a champagne glass on her rear.

"Break The Internet Kim Kardashian," were plastered across the image featuring the reality star, who ultimately picked her first ever Break the Internet Webby Award two years later.

Now that there are another sensations around the block, Kardashian might be ready to pass on the "break the internet" baton. Not only did she like Minaj's photo but also sealed her approval with fire emojis.
