Overview

Kings XI Punjab welcome one of the favourites of the tournament the Kolkata Knight Riders to their backyard as they search for their second win of the campaign. David Miller's team are coming into this game on the back of their first win of the tournament against MS Dhoni's Pune Supergiants and will be keen to continue their momentum when the face the Knight Riders.

The Gautam Gambhir led side, meanwhile, are also coming into the game following a dominant win over bottom placed Sunrisers Hyderabad. They were boosted by the return of Sunil Narine and following a wicket-less first match, the West Indian will be keen to get on the board. The skipper has led from the front with his batting, which has seen him notch up consecutive 50+ scores, and Kings XI will be wary of letting him continue his form.

There are some good individual contests in the pipeline with Glenn Maxwell poised to take on Narine, while Gambhir will be up against the fiery Mitchell Johnson.
