Manchester United target Koke has no intention of leaving Atletico Madrid according to his agent - despite rumours of a move to Old Trafford intensifying after David Moyes was spotted at the Vicente Calderon during their Champions League game against Porto.

It is well known that Manchester United are trying to sign a playmaker in January and Koke has been recently become one of the club's main targets.

However, it may be a near impossible deal for United to pull off as Koke's agent, Iñaki Espizua, has told Spanish radio station Cadena Cope that although his client is flattered about the interest from other big clubs, Koke wants to stay at Atletico Madrid.

"Koke is sure about what he wants for his future and is to be at Aletico Madrid. Right know he just thinks of staying at his club.

"He is very happy here. It is nice when other clubs are interested in him because it means that he is playing well and he should be glad for that but he has no intention of quitting Atletico," Espizua said.

Reports suggest that Koke's release clause is just £20m, a bargain price for a player that is quickly becoming a sensation in La Liga this season. However, Espizua did not want to confirm if indeed that is his real price.

"There is no price for us, neither the release clause. You should ask Atletico. Last summer we extended his contract two more years and he wants to stay."

Aparently, the only way for United to secure the deal is convincing Atletico Madrid with a vast amount of money. Diego Simeone's side have economic issues and during recent years they already have sold stars as Sergio Aguero and Radamel Falcao because of that.

"You know how the football works. If Atletico, because economic reasons, consider to sell him it would be different but Koke has not any interest in leaving the club." Espizua add.

At the same time when he was asking about Moyes' visit he said: "I do not know if Moyes come to see Koke. I do not think so. You should ask Manchester United which ones are their targets but Koke is not thinking of leaving Atletico".

After the game Koke also claimed that he is not thinking of leaving his current club despite Moyes' trip to Madrid.

"I didn't know he was here. I'm not worried, I renewed my contract this summer" he told reporters.
