Kurdish Forces Reclaim Town near Arbil from Islamic State

Kurdish forces battled Islamic State militants on Monday (August 11) and were able to expel them from the town of Makhmur, close to Arbil, capital of the autonomous Kurdish region, which has been under threat from militant advance.
