AC Milan are lining up a "shock swap" deal with Chelsea that will see Fernando Torres heading to Milan with Robinho flying in the other direction. The Blues would have preferred Alexandre Pato instead but the Brazil striker is pretty enamoured with Silvio Berlusconi's daughter so that's a bit of a non-starter.

Least surprising news of the day: Harry Redknapp would quite like the England manager's job. However, the Spurs manager has admitted the job would be a "poisoned chalice" for whoever succeeds Fabio Capello were England to win Euro 2012. Um...ok.

Everton manager David Moyes has accepted he may be forced to sell Marouane Fellaini if the elegantly coiffed midfielder refuses to sign a new contract.
