Not much has changed for Ryan Phillippe in the looks department since his days as Sebastian Valmont in 1999's Cruel Intentions. The actor, 42, looks almost the same as he did more than a decade ago and fans just can't seem to get enough.

Even Live co-host Ryan Seacrest praised the actor's looks following an interview earlier this month. "Lead us to that fountain of youth from which u drink," the American Idol host tweeted.

"Explain to me why you look 10 years younger than your actual age," another fan posted while quite a few demanded he share his secret to defying age.

Phillippe is currently working on the second season of the action drama Shooter in which he plays a former Marine sniper and, while he looks to be in great shape, even he cannot ward of the occasional injury.

He recently posted a photo on Instagram from his hospital bed, with the actor giving a thumbs-up while his right leg is rests in a cast. "I'm going to be ok and I appreciate your concern," he captioned the post.

While he gave no explanation for the injury, it's likely that it occurred on the sets of Shooter where Phillippe told PopSugar he does all his own stunts.

"It's a tough show to shoot. The last two weeks we've been in the desert, Palmdale, you know, in degrees over 110. And it's a physical show, and I do all of my own stunts," he said in the 15 July interview.

"We kind of really push it to the limits. But I love it at the same time. It's exhausting. I've got bruises."
