Leicester City host Tottenham Hotspur in the third round FA Cup replay at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday, 20 January, as the joint leaders look to progress into the fourth round of the tournament after losing at White Hart Lane in the original fixture. Tottenham are likely to field an experienced side to get over the line this time around, after Harry Kane's well taken penalty managed to keep them in contention.

Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is set for 7:45pm GMT. Live coverage of the game will be on BBC One and BBC One HD.

Overview

Leicester City came back from being a goal down at White Hart Lane to come close to winning the game, but were unlucky as a contentious hand-ball decision against Claudio Ranieri's men poured cold water on their good work. The Foxes will, however, be confident coming into the game, having beaten Tottenham in the Premier League only three days later.

Ranieri's men are still joint on top of the league with Arsenal after their 1-1 draw with Aston Villa, but are struggling to pull off wins on a consistent basis, something that will worry the manager after coming this far in the competition. Riyad Mahrez is also likely to be relieved of his penalty taking responsibility, having missed two shots from the spot in recent weeks, which have cost Leicester points in the league.

Tottenham have shown some real mental strength to come back after going a goal down against Sunderland in their last game, winning the fixture 4-1 after some lacklustre defending in the first half saw them go behind. Christian Eriksen got them back in the game and Mousa Dembele's second all but secured three points for the north London club.

Spurs are currently five points adrift of leaders Arsenal, but more importantly, are two ahead of fifth place Manchester United to keep their place in the top four. Manager Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate to right the wrongs from their last two fixtures in quick succession against the Foxes and make some headway towards securing the Emirates FA Cup trophy.

What Manager Say

Claudio Ranieri: "[On Aston Villa game]I already forgot it because we are doing a very great season. A lot of people think we lost two points but that is football. During a season you can take some points that maybe you didn't expect. I remember times when we were 2-0 down and won the match, but sometimes it can also happen that you miss a penalty and lose or draw the match in a bad way. But that is football and it's okay. Now we are focused on the cup."

Mauricio Pochettino: "We made some mistakes in both games that we need to try to fix for tomorrow. We can practice, we can do everything but then in the game, you can make a mistake and you have to accept [that] sometimes. The way we conceded the goal from the corner was our mistake. It's a football mistake, you can't blame anybody. But when you analyse, it was a mistake we need to fix and get sorted because it was a very easy goal."
